Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth , announced today the appointment of Geno Germano, 46, to President - U.S. and General Manager, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. In this new role, Mr. Germano will continue to report to Mr. Joseph Mahady, newly appointed President - Global Business, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Senior Vice President, Wyeth. Mr. Germano joined Wyeth in 1984 as a sales representative and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and General Management, including Managing Director, Wyeth Australia and New Zealand; Executive Vice President and General Manager for Wyeth Global Vaccines; and most recently, Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical Business Unit.
